The springs and bar are painted and they replaced the vinyl and it is much more comfortable now! While this is not a perfect"10". A local shop recovered and touched up the seat which was in really rough shape. Must have worn one out and only replaced one many moons ago. For some reason there are two different grips on it. There was no battery holder in the tank when so they updated it a bit without making permenant modifications. One of our crew replaced the switch and it is now run on a four AA battery pack that is attached via velcro in the tank. The bulbs are burned out but the light does work. The peddles work and are in ok shape we did not replace them since they are original.
